Q & A:

Q: I'm curious about your name - are you  Lalli or Dana?

A: My parents named  me Dana Theresa. My meditation teacher gave me the name  Lalleshwari (poet saint in Kashmir in the 14th century - Lalli for short). Both  names are steeped in  love and life lessons.  Call me Lalli, Dana, Lalli Dana, Dana Lalli - whatever most easily rolls off your tongue.

While Lalli has always enjoyed sunrises and sunsets, she saw her FIRST sun tunnel March 2022 and a second one a few days later. Not again since.

In Asian languages, the word for 'mind' and the word for ‘heart’ are the same. If you’re not hearing mindfulness as heartfulness, you’re not understanding it. Compassion and kindness towards oneself are intrinsically woven into it. You could think of mindfulness as wise and affectionate attention.
